Varnish for reborn doll

Is there a varnish i can use in place of bountiful baby varnish,i am making a toddler.

No. It’s air dry varnish but can be used over heat set.

Here is the recipe for you, Sharon (developed by @anjsmiles)

20 drops distilled water
1/4 tsp cornstarch (teaspoon)
1 level tsp of soft touch varnish
Dissolve cornstarch in water. Add soft touch varnish and mix well.
Apply with a cosmetic sponge. Let it dry. Reapply the second layer if so desired.

You will never go back to GHSP varnish after you try that. I do two coats.

I use Golden Polymer Varnish w/UVLS with a little cornstarch added for my 1st layer of sealer, then the Soft Touch. As much as I love the Soft Touch, it has no UV protection against fading.
