Using an airdry matt varnish

How does one apply this varnish? By brush or with a sponge like you do with the paints?

i use one of those little round sponges on a stick, just pounce it thinly all around, working rather quick so you can see wwhere you already put it

I usually put it on with a brush and then pounce with a cosmetic wedge.

I mix with a little skin color drop of distilled water and pounce on with a sponge.

Thanks everyone for your prompt reply. Now I shall not be scared of doing it.

I brush it on the piece very quickly and thinly then pounce quickly with a sponge just till it’s almost dry. Good luck!
