Update Front Page on Reborns

I did get an only reborns flyer in my irresistibles order the other day.

Oh my goodness! I did not go look to see what the error in typing would lead to but your description was enough to warn me! LOL

Trust me! It is NOT something you want a little girl to stumble upon! It’s flat out disgusting! She needs to change her site name ASAP!
But nope. She’s just accusing Dave of starting the porn site.

That is a wild accusation :flushed:

Right?! That would be an expensive, very vindictive move on Dave’s part. I’m sure he has better things to spend his time and money on.

:unamused: what kind of sites did she expect would pop up if spellings were typed in slightly off from the original? She can’t possibly be that naive.

Dave’s got a survey up on the site. Go fill it out

Thanks @PutABonnetOnIt, for mentioning it.

Even free memberships can do it. It was on the “main” tab on my phone

I wonder if the results of the survey will remain anonymous?

Holy smoke, I just googled without the S. That’s really bad! Dave should edit his post and fix that to avoid any possibility of sending people to that site.

Wow! That is awful! I do wonder if someone did it maliciously? I’m not saying Dave at all, but those urls aren’t actually porn sites, but are just redirected to the same porn site: youporn which has nothing to do with only fans and doesn’t have anything similiar in the website names. I just can’t imagine that youporn would purposely buy the domain rebornsonly to have directed to their site, maybe the onlyreborn one, but in reverse i just can’t see them thinking it would be any kind of investment for a possible redirect. Anyone can buy those domain names for $1.99 on godaddy and instead of creating a website for them, just make them redirect to any website they want whether they own it or not. That is freaking awful though, and I would not want any of my customers accidentally going to one of those sites!

Somebody should tell Dave. I just don’t think he is malicious type to have done that on purpose.

I’m not saying he did it, they just don’t seem like addresses that any porn site would even think would be a good redirect. I also looked up the rebornsonly and it was just bought, Nov. 13,2023 the owner is private, only the site they purchased it through is shown, but both of those redirect sites were purchased from the same public 3rd party. So whoever did do the redirects, just bought and set them up in the last month. And I know from personal website redirect experience how cheap it is and takes about 60 seconds even if your not computer savvy. My actual website address is e-borns.square.site But I wanted it to be easier, so i just bought the domain e-borns.com for actually .99 cents on sale, but full price is $1.99 when i went to manage to try to figure out how to link it to my regular website there was a button that said redirect url, i just typed in my square address hit enter and it was done. No passwords or verification or anything needed. So now when you type in e-borns.com it redirects you to e-borns.square.site but it’s easier for customers to type and they would never know unless looking at the address bar after they are on my site.

But having said that, I feel like Casey should have planned for that a bit, if she was trying to create a big site she should have bought those domain names and had them redirect in case of typos.

Well I can’t see the discussion on reborns dot com to comment but instead of everyone making wild assumptions or accusations in their minds why doesn’t one of you who is there comment to him about the error and give him a chance to fix it on his end. If I made an honest mistake I would rather be called out on it publicly than have people talking behind my back accusing me of something.

That’ interesting Emma, I had no idea you could do that.

I was actually shocked! I thought I would to verify ownership of my square site address or something, as it doesn’t have anything to do with godaddy, it’s not very secure that’s for sure!

He corrected it. Someone let him know within 20 minutes of the typo… but others had already screenshot it and posted it on social media.

Good, I figured that would be the case. That a lot of people would let him know right away.

What a shame.
people never fail to stoop really low thinking they look better.

Oh I think the porn sites would use reborn sites to redirect. I’ve reported dozens of listings on Etsy for adult, very explicit, sex dolls that were mixed in with the reborns. I’d hate to think children are encountering these when looking for baby dolls but I’m sure they are. After reporting them I was bombarded with emails for sex dolls and toys. Eventually they stopped, but it made me hesitant to report these listings that are inappropriate for the category.

I emailed him about it yesterday and he did fix the typo. And yeah, I seriously doubt he’s vindictive enough to do that. Too many dumb accusations going around about Dave.
