Please be extremely careful if you own a Rosewill oven. They are malfunctioning causing parts to melt when baked as normal. @jlesser and I have been unfortunate and lost our work due to this, as well as some others on this forum. If this has happened to you feel free to share pics. Misery loves company
Original post: Darrenās limbs are no more. Iām not sure if this was an oven malfunction or human malfunction. (I may have turned the oven up on accident). Time will tell.
So. Dissapointed.
Update: it was definitely the ovenās fault. Johannahās head has had the same fate. Iām so upset. I now need to purchase a new oven and I lost two kits.
Oh no!!!
My oven has a salmon steak setting right next to the start button⦠salmon steak is set at 450°F⦠thank goodness you have to press it and then the start button for it to start⦠cause I often press that instead of start⦠and come back to a cold oven still waiting for me to press start⦠lol but it has the new settings ready and waiting for 450° for 15 mins⦠would suck to push start without seeing the salmon button on!
Mine is manual so Iām guessing I turned it to the 300s instead of 200s because of cooking habits. But I guess I will never know I may just put Darren away for a while. This is my first kit Iāve ever damaged.
Well, it was the oven I baked Johannahās limbs and all seemed fine. I went to bake her head and within a few minutes it was nearly on fire. Melted to nothing. Iām throwing my oven away and it may be a few weeks before I can afford a better oven
His head is ok, Johannahās is melted into a pile of vinyl. I thought I messed up on temp settings. Turns out it was the oven. (I even did a test run before i put Johannahās head in and it was fine).
Ohhhhhā¦I hate that for youā¦thise ivens seem to just go bad with no warning too.
At least it was the ovenās fault unlike meā¦i hit the dial accidentally and turned the stupid thing up to almost 300 and melted Juneās headā¦made me so mad at myselfš”
