Tink belly plate & clothing size

I am just about to start on Tink, but I am not sure what to think of the belly plate that came with her. It’s just a long flat and narrow piece of vinyl with belly button.
Also, Mcphersons have her listed a 18", but there is no way; this baby is tiny. I do have some preemie clothing but I cannot see how any of them will be small enough.

Has anybody else done Tink?

Following . I started mine , looks like Carter’s preemie size would fit her.

I finished her a little while ago. I have her in washed Gerber Newborn and she is abslolutely swimming in it.

i’d say she’s probably closer to 16 inches, I haven’t painted her yet but she’s very petite. Preemie clothes might be a bit big but should fit fine. Otherwise you could get preemie clothes 3-5 lbs and that should fit perfectly.

My Tinks have been 16 inches. I ordered some 3-5 lb clothes from the preemie store and preemie clothes mart. Some preemie Carters fits also. The belly plate is cute for posing and also does not hinder the cuddle factor much when left on under clothes. It is the only kind of belly plate I really like.

Yours looks lovely. Does the belly plate go sort of around the waist?

I found little preemie jumpsuit on eBay last night, which is for up to 1.5kg and 17". So it should fit; fingers crossed.

Yes @ludmila , the belly plate goes around at the waist and she is really cute when finished. I couldn’t really get into mine until I put the eyes in, then I liked her. Maybe I’ll get some pictures of her soon. I just have her in a little white onesie cause I haven’t found any clothes for her yet. I have a feeling I will be making her something to wear. Good luck with yours, post pictures so we can see her when finished.
