THIS IS ABSLOUTELY NUTS...Kit issues

I was originally going to do combination hair but I may only be able to paint the hair

Probably safer

I agree!

What about using a heat set dryer so you can control the heat.

Oh I didnā€™t think about silicone.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

Iā€™m so sorry @specialmoments this happen ! So frustrating I know someone on here will know I got tons of advice when serenity and my over got into it!

I would do research before using liquid Sculpey as Sculpey itself is not flexible. I believe liquid Sculpey is the same so that when the head is pinched or flattened the Sculpey might crack. I would lean toward silicone, but others have had product with it reacting with the vinyl. I have used it without incident.

Someone recommended 2 thin layers of E6000. Can I use both silicone and E6000?

I donā€™t think you would need to. Just use one or the other. I think E-6000 is flexible too.

Here is a post I remembered seeing in 2012. This might be a good solution. http://bountifulbaby.discoursehosting.net/t/vinyl-repair-experiment-works/13061

I understand how upsetting that must be, and Iā€™m really sorry that it happened. I hope that it works out and that the advice the ladies provided is able to help you fix her. Would love to see pictures when she is finished  Donā€™t give up on reborning if you really enjoy it. Just take a a small break from it and Iā€™m sure youā€™ll be ready to go back.
