I went to order the Kooi twins last night and the kits are $10 more than usual so there is going to be no escaping higher prices. I don’t know if Bobbi is paying tariffs or not but it looks like the price hike is beginning.

I went back on both TruBorns and MacP’s to 2019….over 70 kits ranged in prices from $99-$149 depending on scuptor. Eagles being the most expensive.
the average ended up being in the $120-$130 range.
this year I have bought only 12 kits which ranged in price from 99-139.
So basically I have seen no huge increases….yet.

Well I buy a lot of kits and am used to paying $119 for 18 inch kit w/o plates.
We have not increased any prices.

We cannot ship postal but as long as you have a street address we are shipping UPS courier.

Just a quick note to keep you in the loop. Shipping may be a touch slower right now, but we’re grateful UPS is continuing service while others, including postal, have paused.
Tariffs on this product are meant to be waived, but to save our American friends any worry, we’ve arranged to have any duties turned back to us. That should help speed things up and keep it simple for you.
This should all die down soon…thanks for hanging in there with us.

Thanks Brenda. Just a heads up I did get the order but as of this morning the tracking still says on the way and I keep getting emails from UPS saying customs needs more info from me to deliver it,so things are wonky.

I got a bill from ups today. It says the customs duties $1.40 and then brokerage charge $16.40. Anyone else get this?
Brokerage charge for $16.40, for collecting a buck forty! Lordy!! Where was the package from?
Macpherson’s I believe, I have to look again. That’s the only place I’ve ordered from that used ups.

Hi Paige,
From what I can see, you’re one of just a handful (about five) who received a UPS bill after your package was delivered and before we switched the tariffs to be covered back to our account.
IEEPA is the emergency tariff currently applied to certain packages entering the U.S. What doesn’t make sense to me is that UPS delivered the package and then sent a bill afterwards. I’ve already called UPS and will be disputing these charges.
In the meantime, please know this: we will contact each person affected and arrange to cover this fee. We don’t want you to worry about it. Since we turned the tariffs back onto our side, we haven’t seen any further issues, and I’m hopeful this will be resolved smoothly.
We value each of you so much and are doing everything we can to make shopping with us worry-free. Thank you for being here with us.
