Not strange at all and I encourage you to do that. My Dad was a commercial artist for many years and was so impressed with my babies before he passed away on 1/1/13. I use many of his paint brushes in my reborning and seal the limbs with the art paper that he had used when he painted. My rooting pillow is mad from his neck pillow and every baby I make is a warm rememberance of my “daddy”!
