What do you guys think about a heat gun for touch ups? Anyone use it?
No, that’s incorrect. 265 for 8 minutes regardless.

I take the rack out. And use a white towel directly on the bottom of the oven. I always use the extender ring

I use one of these too and have for years. Even though I paint with air dry I like to seal hair with Genesis Satin and sometimes seal the babies with a mix of Genesis matte and satin.

Here are a couple of photos for your setup. I used cloth diapers to cover the bottom and sides. I rolled up a small washcloth to be a neck roll for the heads. That will keep your head/neck from squishing or rolling when heated. Also, you can see the thermometer right there and visible, so you can always keep tabs on the actual temperature. I hope this helps.

If it’s dry it won’t smudge or wipe off, but it will if it’s still wet from the thinner.
