Both of my Joseph kits arrived today. Now what to do until the paints arrive on Monday?

Def give your boys a bath in warm soapy dawn to degrease any residue left from the molding process. Careful not to scrub to hard and scratch the vinyl.
What paints will you be using?

Exciting! Now you just keep looking at them because soon it will be an obsession, lol! Clothes, diapers, blankets, pacifiers, bows etc… So fun!

I got 3 month Joseph awake and asleep. I’ll be using WaterBorne paints.

Looks like the paints just might arrive tomorrow! Fingers crossed! And they come with something to put on the vinyl before painting it, like a base layer. And special colors for veins (which I’m not going to use, because I don’t really like them), creases, and lips/blush. Colors for everything! Hopefully I won’t have to do too much mixing, because I don’t have a palette anymore. I’ll have to use paper plates until I can get to Walmart.
The paints did come today! I’m not impressed with my first layer: it’s very blotchy. Definitely needs a second coat!
