I finally taught myself how to root eyelashes (after watching a tutorial). Celeste is the first baby I have tried rooting lashes on. I did some for the contest but they sucked so I tore them out today. Now I think I actually “get it” and got her new ones done tonight. I will hopefully put her together tomorrow and share her completed pics. She is going to my daughter.

Congratulations! I can only do them on sleeping babies. Open eyed are just too hard to get the needle in. Poor babies would have had eyelashes halfway up the eyelids!

I can only do sleepers too. I just can’t see well enough, even with my super enlarger glasses, to do the open ones. I keep trying and failing. I can do the sleepers though and that’s good.
Yes this was a sleeper. I refuse to do open eyes because of my vision too. Even with magnifiers it’s still not enough. I tried once and that was enough. I knew there was something I was doing wrong for closed eyes and finally figured out I was holding the hair at the wrong angle. Celestes lashes aren’t perfect… They are really too thick… But I had abused her enough so she will stay that way. Now it’s time for improving
