I have found that most of my 19-22 all fit good in Newborn 18- preemie. The one 22 inc I have made could fit NB or 0-3 the 19’-20’ are too small for 0-3.
I think
18- 20 Newborn Some 18" reborns will wear Preemie
21-22 0-3M
22-24 3-6M even 6-9 Month in some cases
I just did Robin who is 22-23" and she wears 3-6M. Londyn I did I believe is 20" wears 0-3M. It depends on like the body for the most part and clothing.
Lol this is the exact reason I told my 12 yr old we’re gonna have to take the doll shopping with us! LOL
Baby clothes have always varied. Different brands seem to be different sizes even when the tag says the same size. lol
I reused a preemie outfit for my 6 yr old’s baby and it fit the 16 inch baby perfect. It is one with the feet…
Thanks so much
I saw a premie outfit st Walmart was so cute but looked pretty small for 20 inch.I guess true need to take baby along.
Not sure im brave enough for that yet…!
Well the 3 to 6 month i saw a few really cute ones with hats at the dollar store .too adorable. All out of 0-3 months ones
Not sure id use that material on a real baby not super soft but Avery will be just fine in it i think .
She may have her first debut to a friend of mine today who has never seen a reborn if i can find clothes and get her stuffed in time
.
I take the doll when I’m buying specifically for it.
Guess i have to bite the bullet take it.
Do you pretend it is a real baby and bring it in, in a carseat? Or just carry it?
I always travel with a carseat to keep it from rolling onto the floor. Had that happen once! If I go to Target or somewhere with shopping carts, yes, I take the carseat and put in in the shopping cart. When I go to places without carts, I just carry in like I would a baby. Sometimes I use a blanket so I can cover it up, if necessary.
I have found I get dirty looks when I don’t treat the doll like a baby. The trip is so much more enjoyable (from lack of evil glares) when treated as a baby and the few people that get close usually ask if my baby is ok…or they start looking over at me and I feel the glare. In both cases, I say, “It’s a doll, would you like to see her?” and they’re so astonished…and speechless. Then I hand them my business card.
