This is the mommy of the real Joseph speaking. I just had to show you all this collage I put together. The left picture is Silvia’s Joseph, which she is making for me (she is even going to root some of my real Joseph’s actual hair, from his first haircut, on the top of his head!). The 2 pictures on the right are of my real baby (the black and white picture was taken hours after he was born, while he had more puffy features. I selected that picture as it was taken at the same angle as Silvia’s photo). I can’t believe how much it looks like him! I can’t stop staring at the pictures Silvia sent, and I am so excited to be able to hold Joseph! It will be like holding him as a newborn all over again!
I’ve been loving seeing all of the Joseph prototypes, I wanted to buy every one of them LOL. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone else’s versions of him after he is released as well! I am for sure going to be checking out all of the Josephs that will soon be on eBay and other selling sites. It really makes my day to see a new version of him, I’m excited to see all of the different looks he will have! My kids get super excited too when I show them new pictures. My oldest child often asks me if we can make a doll of her as a baby. My kids are all crazy about dolls, I wonder where they get that from.
@Sydster@jlesser Thank you both! I feel so spoiled to have him, Silvia is so awesome to offer this! His hair from his first haircut is even the same color he had as a newborn (most of my kids were actually born with brown hair, which grew in blonde a few months later). Joseph was blonde from the beginning, though.
How perfect, Jessica! I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to have a replica of my real babies to hold for ever. Lucky you! He’s beautiful and so is the real Joseph.
WOW how exciting! I bet your super excited to be able to cherish forever a 3d “picture frame” if you will of your sweet angel. That is precious. How does that process happen? Did you request it, or are your friends with one of the sculptors? I always wondered where all these cute babies come from hehe and how we get our vinyl kits
Sylvia’s version is impeccable!!! Amazing realism and likeness! What an honor to not only have a sculpt of your sweet boy but, painted by Sylvia and rooted with Joseph’s real hair just for you I know you will cherish your reborn baby Joseph for many years to come!!!
Just think, when your son heads off to college you can boohoo while you rock and snuggle your reborn Joseph and pretend he’s a baby all over again
Wow!!! That most definitely looks identical to your real little man!!! I love the way Silvia paints!! The prototypes that she paints always have the new baby pink skin tone which i love. You’re little man is absolutely beautiful!! Id love to see what he looks like now
Thanks everyone! To say I am excited for him is an understatement, I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning! @avyona I submitted him for consideration (to be chosen as a newborn model). I am also Denise Pratt’s daughter. This is the first one of my babies to have a Realborn of them, though Donna RuBert did sculpt a portrait of a couple of my kids (Crystal and Kimber). I emailed Donna pictures of my babies after they were born, and she asked if she could sculpt them. Off course, I said yes! Also, I emailed Silvia pictures of my Joseph after he was born, and told her we were making a Realborn of him. She offered to make a prototype of him, I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time! I Iet my real Joseph’s hair grow long so we could use his hair for his doll. Here is a recent before and after picture from his first haircut.
