Okay ladies since everyone says her eye lashes are scary
I’m trying to get a look of what you think she should look like since I do need to sell her. I’m selling her $800.00 under value all ready and she had never bern used played with and is only 6 months old and lays save in my crib!!!
I do wish I could root her eyelashes but I can’t and I don’t want to try as much as she cost and have to tskr more money off. I did use a program showing a before and after of what I think you are talking about? I think your saying they are to wide they go way over each side? I also took her pick under a bright light b4 I used the program to remove some of her eyelashes so you could see her brighter. She has beautiful blonde hair I’m not sure why people are saying she needs rerooted some babies are sold bald. Her hair is so soft and doesn’t tangle!
Anyway I may be able to get someone to trim her lashes to be like this picture or do you think they need to be shorter to? Or is this not what you meant at all?
Thank you for your help
They should be more on the edge of the actual eyeball.
But that’s how they are in the first pic? And I’m told that’s wrong?
Unfortunately not all are made the same and you can’t see her eyelids so that doesn’t help either but I really wanted a open eyed so that’s what my husband looked for.
I don’t know what waterline means
since I don’t reborn . So which pic is better?
The picture you should use for selling is whichever looks closest to the real product. You wanna make it look good, but the colors should still be true to the real thing or you’ll end up with angry customers.
I would never show fake pictures but you can never get we exactually what I see on pics. I’m not the artist and 4 of the pics I use are from the sale my husband got her from because she has proper light and props. I would not put the pics from this photo shop i just want to know if I should change them that way since everyone thinks they are wrong. I’m sure someone out there could change them and make a pretty penny on her but I can’t root
I was just trying to get opinions and someone told me to use more light , when I turned on my bright light it takes away her rosey cheeks but when I don’t use the light she looks to rosey blah…
Thanks again

They look better thinned down. Should probably be a little shorter too. If you look at the picture above, there is space between the lash line and the eyebrows
Make them a little shorter too and they will look more realistic
I agree, they need to be shorter. At least that is an easier fix than moving them.
Thank you… I’m not offended I did not make her and my niece’s daughter looks just like her except she had black hair and has been a model for 10 years. People use to ask her if she put fake eyelashes
nevause of her eyes and eyelashes being so big! She is a beautiful baby and much prettier in person. Yes she has huge eyelashes but her eyes are big to. She wasn’t $800 I lowered her $800.00 she was $2,000 and has a drink and wet system as well.
I do think she would look better with them shorter and trimmed back I just am worried I will mess her up. She was sold all summer so I just relisted her after that nightmare it’s kind of frustrating after thinking she was sold holding her and never hearing this about her eyes before on Ebay or FB. I do think someone will love her like I do the problem is the hospital doesn’t care about me trying to get the money
and I won’t take less then $900.00 because she is all ready s huge deal for the buyer
if if they need to fix her eyelashes!
I do appreciate all the advice
Thank you
I think maybe it isn’t just the eyelashes that might be putting off buyers, she is very dolly looking for a silicone. Many silicones look like real babies and I think that might be what people are looking for that are willing to pay a higher price for a doll. I hope someone comes along and falls in love with her and gives her a good home. Good Luck with her sale.
Actually she looks more real then my other silicones or any of the friends I’ve seen. But you can have your opinion she has viening I rarely see that ecept in my beautiful reborns. Wich is why a lot of people prefer reborns in stead. Plus they don’t get sticky need powder ect… she has baby wrinkles and they did not have to be painted on they are molded by hand. When you hold her she gets warm like a real baby my min silicone feels cold all the time and the 20 just doesn’t have as good of a quality as the 30.
Her head was not done in 2 pieces like other silicones so she is even very safe for children and I know some people do by silicones for children.
I see thin toes and fingers in the ones people are paying $3.000 for hers look real. These are pictures not her in person and I would be terrified to pay $3,000 for a silicon because they are propped taken to look their best to sell they are still JUST PICTURES… I have a snuggle baby with a silicone head and she’s from a good artist her paint is all ready coming off
I don’t play with her.
Bella has a drink and wet system can be bathed ect… THEY ARE ALL DOLLS…all though I don’t like calling my reborns that they mean more to me then a doll. I’m only selling her because my sons ill I will never get another drink and wet silicone baby for $2,000 I know this
do selling her $1,000 less us really a steal
I may be wrong lol, but it appears that her lashes are black and her hair is blonde. Hence the stark contrast, maybe perhaps unnatural looking tone they give? Or it could be that there are way too many hair per hole and thus the eyelashes are looking darker than they really are. Eyelashes are very tricky to do right. Less is more. I think it would be easy to reroot them actually, since there is no glue holding them in.
But I think what also may have happened is that her eyelashes were glued in the uprigth position and the glue fused multiple hairs together giving them a thicker appearance. I have made this mistake! I’ll post eyelashes that I glue in the upright position WRONG and the ones I glued RIGHT. The first pic is a baby i glued wrong. The second is much better.
I hope this helps!!! Thinner single mono rooted lashes and very carefully glued upright like this:
What do you glue them with? I’m still trying to figure out rooted lashes on open eyes.
I use aileens paper glaze to glue mine JUST at the very lashline only!
Hi sweetie
Again I SO VERY MUCH appreciate all the feedback and help I’m getting i know it’s hard to read everything and understand if anything was missed like her sales post which explains most if it.
I did not make her I wish I was so talented and could or I wish I would do anything I’m home bound most days I’m bed bound. I’m very very sick have no intestines I have a bag and my hands are starting to get really bad from my RA and I’m only 49. Her eye lashes are not blonde you are correct but they are a brownish colored so not black either. As for rooting I can’t because of my hands.
But the artist hand molded her once she poured her because she doesn’t do the head and body in to pieces like most silicones she’s so well made. So her lashes are molded into her silicone
I have thought about bleaching them my friend had a costume made reborn that was a albino and she bleached her hair and eyelashes!!
I truly think she would make a little girl so happy because she is done so well a young lady could care for her and she can drink and wet.
I do think I could trim them and make them shorter and thinner this pic is a idea if what I mean and what they would look like.
Can you glue a silicones eye lashes ?
Yes you could glue them with a tiny tiny amount of fresh silicone ![]()
I’m so so rry to hear of your health problems! Sounds like you have been through a great deal! I hope you find a new mommy for your little girl soon!
Thank you sweetie, yes I’m very ill that’s why I started getting my reborns they give me comfort
especially being I’m alone when my hubby takes my 15 year old to vacation or soccer tournaments.
Thanks again
I don’t think @lynn was trying to be mean. She was stating an opinion and you asked for our help. I’d recommend selling her on Facebook. There are groups for silicone dolls and booboo babies. People sell for a good price. Good luck!
