My daughter picked me up this silicone Ashton Drake at the thrift store. Her hair is a matted mess other than that she is nice and clean. Is it going to hurt the silicone if I put stuff in her hair to try and untangle it?

No, it won’t. Just try to keep it off the face and such. You can wipe that down with a damp cloth afterwards. You might start with just wetting it with cool water and using a wide tooth comb. That may be enough.

Try gently combing it starting at the tips, about 1/4" at a time, and moving up. It’s labor intensive but does work.
