I’m definitely not where I want to be with my painted hair but this year I’m trying to improve. I have recently changed up the way I paint it so that’s why there is a difference in the photos. Also the baby with black hair is an alternative but she was one of my latest.

My tips are:
If using Heat set and you like what you see, stop and bake it! It’s your only way to ensure it will stay while you are working on other areas.
Don’t be afraid of blue and black added to the mix. If it starts looking to gray, you can add a little yellow back in.
For blondes, start with the darker color first. For brunettes, start with the lighter color first.
