My Francie had those straight stick legs, I remember my older cousin got Francie for me, because she got a Barbie, and Francie was Barbie’s cousin. lol
This baby tender love sneezed. I had a red haired version of this one. I named her Jana.
Yay, that was her…I had a little blonde one, like in the picture. I don’t remember if I named my babies or not? I know I called Baby Beans, Beans…how original LOL
All of mine had names. The sneezing one was Jana. But her nickname was Sneezy…super original
I may have named mine Sneezy…that sounds about right LOL
The boy doll was may favorite. His name was Richard. I told Santa I wanted a boy doll because I already had 23 girls. I still have his tattered head on my bedroom shelf.
She is gorgeous!
Yes like an American doll, so cute!
Going to have to google some of these babies. I know my baby cried when you tipped her over.
Awe that makes me a little sad that you were so timid
How cute their little faces are
You had to have been on cloud 9 with these amazing babies wow. Thank you for sharing your wonderful personal photograph
I had the Crissy dolls. You could pull the hair to make it long or wind it back to make it short. Had the blonde and red head. The got lost when we moved.
I think I had some Barbie’s as a little girl, because my Mom actually made clothes for them (which I still have a couple), but other than that I didn’t like dolls at all. My daughter, almost 36, loved her cabbage patch and Teddy ruxpin, for a short time. We didn’t really do dolls in our family. Now teddy bears and stuffed animals are a different story. I will be 59 and have a stuffed dog that I love, and keep on my bed, loved much more than any reborn.
Yes she was but all I remember is what a brat I was I wanted roller skates
I still have my very first doll, a Raggedy Ann that my dad bought for me when I was born 7 weeks early. Wish I still had my dad
I can’t find a pic of Raggedy Ann on my computer. Darn. She’s packed away somewhere, but she’s still here!
My dad made the dollhouse for me when I was 7 or 8, here’s a pic from 1966 ~ I was 10 and cameras had just been invented

Anybody remember Toodles? She was the last doll I got from my parents. I wanted her SO bad. My mom didn’t want to get it because it was expensive. It was $19.95. That was a lot of money 58 years ago and there were 3 siblings to buy Christmas gifts for, too. She also thought I wouldn’t be playing with dolls much longer. Wouldn’t she laugh if she knew I’m still playing with dolls? I told her I didn’t care if I didn’t get anything else and I still have my Toodles. She was my very favorite.
This is Toodles
This is Toodles with Tiny Tears. Toodles drinks, wets and has jointed elbows and knees. Tiny Tears drinks, wets and cries real tears.
Check out this Barbie and Ken from the 60’s. Look at those clothes and hair styles.
This is one of my composite dolls. I don’t know how old she is, but she’s pretty old. I made new clothes for her because her original ones were wrecked.
I remember those!
If that doll house could sneak I bet it would have some stories to tell
. What an heirloom to still have your Ragedy Ann from someone so special for such a precious moment to be treasured for sure
My mom had Toodles. Hers was a big one with bendable knees. She gave her to us when we were kids. By then, her hair had several bald spots. We loved her though. But Daddy hated her. He took her to the dump one day. My brother tattled on him. But it was too late to get her back. Momma was sooooooo mad at him over that.
