Selling babies

When I first started, I sold them for around $175 - $200, but it didn’t take long to realize that (a) I was losing money, and (b) I could get a lot more for them. Now they start at around $400 and go up to around $1200 for most big toddlers. We have a formula for pricing that my husband makes me stick to so I don’t lose money on them. It factors in cost of kit and materials as well as clothes and accessories, and adds a set amount for labor. Most of mine are in the $650 - $700 range and I sell them at that price with no problem. Hope that helps a little.

I have an Etsy store, a website, and a lot of repeat customers. I have nothing listed right now and haven’t for a while. Since we got our grandson I haven’t had much time to do any new babies. :flushed: He is so worth the time trade-off though. I have a Logan on my desk ready to paint now and am hoping to be able to do it while I’m on Christmas break. The new semester begins Jan. 2nd, and we go back to school Jan. 3rd, so if I’m gonna get it done, I’d better hustle.
