Does everyone seal their dolls?
I seal all of mine with Americana Decor Soft Touch Varnish. It leaves a very soft finish. I don’t want my babies to feel like sandpaper no matter how good they look.

I always do. I like a 50/50 mix of Genesis satin and matte and add a touch of flesh color.

I can’t get the sealing right on the 1st try. It takes me 2 or 3 times. Any advice!
Which product are you using for sealing?
I’m using the BB mat, mixed with thinning med n flesh tone.
What aren’t you happy with about how you are doing it? Is it because of the "texture’ of the sealer? The sealer is a bit rough, that’s normal.

No it’s not that. It seems to turn white when dry.
Either you’re using too much paint, putting it on too thick, or not baking enough. Try taking out the flesh paint.
