Scales

I use a digital baby scale. I did use a kitchen scale, but it was just too small for me to be able to read the numbers after I got the doll in a bowl. The baby would not sit on the scale enough to get a good reading anyway. It is a small scale.

Do you think that the mail scales are more accurate than the baby scale?

I have no idea which is more accurate. I purchased the baby scales because I couldn’t read the numbers when I put a bowl on top of the first scales I purchased (kitchen scales), and put the doll in it. So, I was shopping for something better.

I will say my baby scale was accurate with the one at my doctors office and at my vet. It’s digital though not the dial kind.

I have a big vintage fruit and vegetable scale that is still accurate. The baby fits on it nicely. It is not pretty, but it goes up to 20 pounds so works for baby and boxes that I am shipping too.

I use a small kitchen scale with a bowl on it for dolls. I bought it to keep track of my baby lizard’s growth (it gets sanitized between dolls and lizards). Before this, I used my home scale and weight myself with and without the doll. Kitchen scale is a lot more accurate.

I bought this one last November and really like the well-lit numbers. They don’t totally get lost under my packing boxes when I weigh them.
