Just started rooting on my 10 inch kit ,I did half of her head in one hour and 10 min ,but had to stop ,cuz my 38 gage needle broke and I had to work at my church on line ,but will continue some tomorrow.
You’re getting there!!
Maybe try a 42 or 43 gauge… the holes will be smaller
@Nikkiroc, the artist has problems with her eyesight so maybe dose needles would be to fine or break more often .
You had a great start !
Oh! Yes! Great start! You are really moving along!!!
Thank you
Thank you ,actually I talk to reborn artist instructor ,and she explain to me that if I use the 42 gage needles, to go more slowly, that way my needles will brake Less ,this is my first time using a 42 gage needle, am yet to using the 38 gage needles wish I need to order more 38 gage needles, but will also be ordering the 42 gage needles as well ,indeed am partially blind and I do take eye drop for meds due to eye sight issues I was born with ,but am also using a magnifying glass With a light
on it ,that way I can see better . Thank you so much for your advice ,as it does help me to improve my understanding skills even know am still a beginner stage and on Jan 6,2020 will be a year since I took air dry paint class for Rebornning kits as I can’t use the Genesis heat set paints with the nuke wave over ,due to allergies. ,thank you so much for your feedback ,I do appreciated
Thank you
Thank you ,actually this is my second temp ,but first time Rebornning on an actual kit ,when I took air dry paint class ,I had an cheap regular doll from China ,as I dint’t want to spend money to try it out, as am very picky how my money is spent ,so I use a regular doll instead, try it and In love with it ,I start out small ,now am bless with a max kit by BB and more Rebornning tools to be able to paint more properly then I did before ,I do have a pic of my regular doll that I Reborn during my air dry paint class ,will be posting it soon .thank you for your feedback
Just a suggestion… you won’t need as much mohair to root your doll if you cut the strands into shorter sections before rooting. Unless you are wanting to make a reborn with very long hair. Do what you want, but using the entire length of mohair and cutting it after it is rooted can waste a lot and mohair is fairly expensive.
Thank you for your advice ,my friend Instructed me ,to take small positions of mohair and cut half ,that way the mohair will last longer ,thank you ,good idea
Thank you ,me too lol
,a big lesson here ,thank you for the advice
