What type of hair is the best for rooting silicone? (Ecoflex 00-20)
The thicker ones, finer ones, alpaca, angora…? What stays better?

My own personal opinion is to use Kid or Angora. The finer the better so it will lay flat.

But, if it’s a very thin hair, isn’t it easier for the hair to come off?
I agree… if the hair is too thick or coarse, it will stick straight up in the air! I have been rooting my latest silicone baby with pygora and that is working out beautifully!
I’ve only rooted one silicone head and I used alpaca, which worked great. It’s very fine but is stronger than mohair. I had no issues with it slipping out or breaking.
