I saw a show today called Hot Bench it had a woman suing another woman for scamming her on an PayPal purchase of a reborn .
Anyone else see it ?

This was a reborn I watched it all the way through and just as they were getting to the part where you find out the decision a family member came in with something that just couldn’t wait and I missed it darn it I think the reborn artist won but how will I ever know ?

It played out like this the one woman bought a reborn then she had a box opening on utube and was all how wonderful it was .
And before she even got it from what it sounds like by the dates she opened a claim with PayPal saying it wasn’t as described or damaged something to do with smelling of cigarettes and pet hair all over it .

And then the claim was denied and she was told by the artist to return it and refused said not until she got her money back .
Then she sold the doll and opened another claim saying it was an un authorized charge so she got the money and the doll .
The artist had all the records and everything so I am sure she was going to win but I missed the ruling .
If anyone else sees it let me know the outcome because I cant seem to find it on line anywhere.

Okay I am told this woman got her money back and some for lost business because the woman who did this it was said was a known scammer in the reborn community and did this kind of thing
She also set out to ruin her name in the reborn community and trashed her as much as possible she was also suppose to report the scammer to some legal something but my informant did not get that part .
It had the names in the hearing but I would think they would have surely changed those to alias for the people in question at any rate not going to put the names in here that were used just in case.

Yep that was silicone artist Cheri Ziegra that was the plaintiff on Judge Judy. And Cheri won her case :smiley: I actually have a BB Gracie kit that was painted by Cheri. She does great work.

Thanks ! Okay they were not going as silicone they were called reborn and one is not the same as the other so that makes for confusion for sure .
Yeah the names were not that either so I am guessing they changed the peoples names as I mentioned earlier and just called them reborns .

Cheri’s case was Judge Judy not hot bench so two totally different cases.

Thanks ! the babies I saw didn’t appear to be silicone I wish my attention hadn’t been diverted but at least I know she won her case thanks to a family member that had seen it and since I do reborns they found it interesting to watch.
