No your right, the one I did this to didn’t have flaps at all and I was thinking of going through the front when I tried the nickles on my Harlow but that was just to see how to get the eyes to stay flush with the vinyl, I wasn’t done painting yet. I didn’t think about when it came time to root lashes and then going through the front with the eyes! Guess I’ll be opening up the sockets from inside too. But it would still work out that way too! I did a dolll that will have eyes looking sideways. They are 22 but suppised to be 20 One is very loose and sits at an angle a lot more than the other.Ill probably have to do this too.
