Saw this baby on Ebay for $125. I’m not one to judge, but I wouldn’t pay $50 for this baby. What a rip-off!
This might be someone’s first try. Or, it might have been done by a very young artist. It’s definitely a mix and match baby-looks like Bella’s head, Sera’s arms and IDK whose legs.
Yeah it looks like Chrissy’s head, sera’s arms, and no idea what legs
Perhaps it is their idea of an alternative baby ?
Well at least they’re factoring in the time it took to paint and the 3 different kits they used I always under price my babies this is encouragement
I hope the seller isn’t on this forum. They’d possibly be upset.
Wouldn’t we Have seen it already? but good point .
The Frankenstein baby
I know it could be someone really trying their best. However if it is, then lest tel the person the truth. The parts are all different size and color. I recommend that they keep at it and try getting some kind of help ( Tutorials, YouTube vids or something) before trying to sale. That is the reason why most of us kept our first babies. They where not our best work, so we didn’t see a point on trying to sale.
What a mishmash! The head and arms are from different sculpts, the sizes don’t match, and those legs look like someone’s first try at sculpting. And that’s not even counting the fact that none of them are the same color. If someone buys it for that price, or any price, I’d be shocked!
Why am I working so hard to do my best if people don’t even care any more???
Well you never know what will sell on Evilbay. There is a woman on Ebay selling customs that are barely more than a blank kit put together and stuffed with poly-fil.I had the pleasure of re-reborning one bought from her.It had only a few spots of red blush here and there and it wiped off with a wet cloth.Poor woman had paid over $200 for that baby and it was ridiculous. She didn’t even have it on the right body. The kit had full limbs and she had a 3/4 limb body on it ,making it look deformed.
Strange though, just the head alone isn’t that bad for a first try. I wonder why they didn’t just use the whole kit. It would’ve looked better.
Yep…
Perhaps they only had spare parts? A build your own kit parts sold separately job , now the legs perhaps they came from a store doll and not a kit at all?
Of course we don’t know what they are going for I have never been a fan of abstract art however it will get people to talking as this one did .
The toes do look kind of ‘rough’ like they aren’t done sculpting yet? Perhaps she sculpted her own legs?
But you’re right, it depends on what they’re going for. Anything can be art these days. Wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this in a modern art museum, haha.
Those toes lolololol! I was wondering why nobody said anything
Glad it’s not just me.
