I have a friend who wants me to re-reborn two of her dolls that are quite worn. They are painted with Genesis, but I use Air Dry. Can I strip them and use the air dry paints? And do I strip them with Windsor Newton?
Yes and yes.
Yes you can use the air dry paints. I’ve stripped Genesis paint a few times and repainted with air dry with no problems. I have even painted over Genesis once it was cured with air dry and did not have a problem then either. Winsor Newton is the best product to use IMO to strip the vinyl.
