I am surprised that this baby is still on reborns.com and hasn’t sold yet. Is there maybe something wrong with it other than it having been stripped, repainted and re-rooted - but she looks adorable to me.
The seller doesn’t ship outside USA or I would have bought her at $775.00 USD
She’s definitely adorable and looks great. All I’m thinking is that for that money, I’d like to see more close up pictures of everything. But I’m sure the seller will supply those upon asking.
Sometimes selling is just weird, I guess. I have seen absolutely gorgeous reborns just sit around and being listed over and over and I’ve seen some that aren’t that good looking sell for a lot of money in no time.

Thanks for the link. That’s a beautiful baby. I wonder if the before pictures are turning people off. We all know buyers don’t read the write ups by the questions they ask us which are already in the write up. She also uses the word ‘faded’. Again, that was before the make over.

Yes me too - and all the ones I would happily have bought won’t ship to Australia - even though I would be happy to pay any reasonable price and extra to cover the inconvenience for the seller. And by reasonable I had the idea that it could cost between $150 and $200 USD
I tried to buy a Jack by Nikki Johnston and was told shipping would be $367 USD - way over what I could afford
yeah for sure - just seemed like a good buy for a Romie baby as I know the sculpt is long sold out and hard to find. I am watching a blank kit Angelina Strydom on ebay and it’s priced as a buy now for $366 USD ($495 AUD) I am tempted because the seller is in Australia and no shipping fee for me - and I also bought Atticus LLE from the seller and it was legit…so so tempted LOL
I think it’s worth asking about when people say ship to USA only. Yea they might get annoyed but so what. I started saying that in my ads but only because I was getting scammers from some country nobody has ever heard of. If a reasonable person from outside US was willing to pay the price, I would have shipped.
She’s adorable. The lister needs to list it by kit name so she doesn’t get overlooked. She also needs to fix her spelling of the sculptor name. She calls her Rome or Rosie Strydom instead of Romie Strydom.
I agree. The back story is irrelevant and needs to leave.
Someone should provide her with these suggestions, sometimes we don’t think of these things.
Her hair looks rather dry and fuzzy to me. She is darling though.

I wouldn’t want to buy a doll for that amount of money if “Her coloring just didn’t look right”.

I totally agree. I just put ship to US and Canada in my listings just to try it when I first started selling. Now that I’m more comfortable, I don’t want to ship everywhere and wouldn’t even know what to give as a shipping price so if someone contacted me and it was a well known international place I would definitely look into a shipping price and ship.
The faded thing is the old version but see how confusing that is.
