So I’m working on an AA. And I want to give her thicker curls toward the back of her head. If I’m making sense.
Do I just root that area with the follicles closer together or do I root more than one hair per hole?
Any experienced rooters who can advise?

See how it looks like the crown area is thicker so it kinda stands up more?

I’m no expert, but I would say to root the hairs closer together. You can do either, but I think that rooting closer together tends to look better. Hope that helps!
Root close together. Examples of some of the babies I’ve rooted. Their rooting is close together. 1-2 strands of hairs in each hole.
