Question about magnetic pacifiers

Hi there ladies! I have a question or two about magnetic pacifiers. I’m having a little trouble cutting off the remaining part of the nipple. I’ve been using scissors. Would it be better to use a hobby knife?:

Also the magnets I have are
.25 in & 6.3 mm are those the right size for the magnetic pacifiers?
Thanks,
Julie

yes, please be careful, but use your exacto knife, almost laying the blade flat against it, and slice off.

I usually cut the nipple halfway through and then pull it out as far as I can when cutting. Then when I let go, it’s pretty flat.

Just like Deedee mentioned…pull the nipple out and cut while pulling it. It will retract down inside when you let go. I usually take my exacto knife and carve out the center deep enough and big enough for the magnet to sit down in there and flat with the surface.

And, as mentioned, be very careful with the exacto knife.

A cuticle trimmer works really well and won’t slice your fingers.

I use a cuticle trimmer as well. I pull the nipple out as far as I can while using it. Not only is it safer, it cuts closer than my knife ever did.

Thanks Ladies! Do they sell cuticle trimmers at BB?

They sell them at dollar tree

Use a cuticle trimmer takes them off cleanly in one shot and you can’t hurt yourself

I bought these and use these to clip the nipples off pacifiers and to snip the cable ties
