Question about coco kit please HELP!

Ok so this is my first full body baby I have done an I understand the connectors but I don’t get is how I’m gonna get the sandblast beads an the nylon in the torso. Any suggestions would be awesome  The holes are so small. One more question does anyone know where I could actually buy connectors? I was very luck an came across a fellow reborner who has a coco kit she wants to get rid of but no connectors for 100 bucks not a bad price. She also is nice enough to hold it for me because I have no cash at all. I spent so much money on gas an hotels for my new job an they haven’t paid me back for yet. So on that note it’s gonna be a ruff week until payday an I would love to get coco up for sale. I just don’t know how to fill the torso :frowning:

Do you have pictures, Leslie? I imagine you could widen the holes with an exacto knife if anything.

I have done several of this type kit and it is challenging, but not impossible. Here’s how I do it. I use more than one bead pouch and just make them smaller. Double, or triple the nylon so it is sturdy and leave a bit of room when you tie it off. Then just work with the pouch to make it elongated rather than round and just work it into the leg hole a little at a time. I have found that using the eraser end of a pencil to work the bead pouch into the hole helps tremendously and there is less of a chance of puncturing the pouch with the eraser than there is with some other tools. I wouldn’t recommend widening the hole because the connectors won’t fit correctly. Good luck. You can do it!

Thank you so much  I’m gonna try it out an what a great idea with the eraser! @izzy I don’t think I can make the holes bigger because of the way the connectors attach to the limbs. There’s like a plastic piece that is like a plug so if I make it bigger it won’t fit right. It’s hard to explain lol I will show you pictures just give me a little bit. I’m putting Masie together at the moment. Thanks again @heartstringsnursery

Or another way is to put your empty stocking in through the hole first leaving enough of an edge out so that you can tie your knot…then pour your beads into the stocking, tie it off and drop in into the baby…also Another thing you can do is using a stocking for your beads and make the stocking longer and the knot further up so that you can sort of just put the empty end in the hole and ‘feed’ the beads in like 'sands through the hour glass

Things got a little crazy yesterday with my older son so I haven’t put her together yet but thank you for the advice. It’s very much appreciated.:blush:

Irresistibles have extra connectors for sale. I’ve done four Cocos, if you buy two sets, they should work. I agree with Starr, put the empty nylon in first, then fill. Do not cut into the holes to widen, it will not fit together properly if you do.
