Question about baking reborn!

I purchased a reborn over the weekend and there are some spots I would like to touch up with my Genesis paints. She has rooted hair and lashes. Am I able to bake a reborn with rooted hair?

Put a damp hat over the rooted hair.

OK thank you I have another question, I was removing everything from inside of her head and noticed the nylon in her her head that was holding the glass beads is glued to her mohair, can I bake her with part of the nylon still inside?

I personally wouldn’t but I’ve never tried it before. Maybe someone will come along with a better answer to that question.

Is it just part of the hose left? or the bag of beads?

Just part of the hose but I think there are still a few beads stuck inside too :frowning:

If there is quite a bit of glue left in the head, I’m not sure that I would bake it. You never know what the glue is gonna do when heated. Do you know what kind it is?

I have no idea :frowning:

Thank you everyone for all your help

I have baked with glue in the hair. I do it sometimes to speed up the drying time. I think it will be fine just make sure to keep an eye on it.

OK thank you!

Is there any way I could not bake the Genesis and add some sort of air dry varnish over top to help it from rubbing off?

If the lashes are the fake ones, they will melt.

Can you use air dry?

Yea I think that’s what I’ll do. I already applied a little bit of Genesis, so when that rubs off I’ll buy some air dry! thank you
