I bought one of @izzy little resin Tulip babys and i just started painting her creases. Im using a very tiny brush and some PanPastels… Tulip is soooooo tiny that i had to buy a magnifier with a built in light
She’s adorable!!
Did you use sealant prior to painting and will you? I want to paint my little Tulip just don’t know what to use. Don’t want to ruin her.
So darling!
I have not put any sealer on her… I really dont plan on it cuz the only way i handler her is with the tissue paper she was wrapped in when Izzy sent her to me… I noticed that the oils from my hands were leaving some shiney spots on her and since the resin has a nice skin tone already im only doing her creases and just a slight coloring of her tiny feet
She’s so adorable!
She is even more adorable in person!!
Omg, so cute!! Izzy’s a great sculptor. This picture made my morning
Aw she is looking so cute already!!
Most people use powders or air dry paints. Pretty sure @anjsmiles used BabyFX.
Yes!! She most certainly is an amazing sculpter!!
Thank you Izzy!! She takes the powder very well i still cant get over how cute she is
She looks great!!
So stinkin’ cute snug as a bug in a rug
You’re doing great
How cute!! I love the little smile!!
@izzy Do you have more for sale? Does ghsp work on resin?
I think I have one left in stock at the moment - $55+ship.
GHSP does work, you just have to be careful. I wouldn’t recommend sealing the babies with GHSP mediums or varnishes, I did a test and they turned chalky over time.
Adorable!
Thats what i was just wondering if you could use like a chalk paint on resin… My mom used to paint the plaster craft stuff with the chalks and she did a baby doe for my dad and it looked so real. but you had to use a sealer. they were dry chalks applied dry with a art brush.
Okay thanks for the info😊
