I love them but think the cloth body needs painted to look best… and I have never attempted painting the bodies yet

They are new puppy kits on preorder. 1/4 limbs (top line on the animal kit page)

I am not sure what color the body is… let me see if Jodie posted it before she painted them…

I dont see any unpainted on Jodie’s posts but found this on Truborns so I am going to guess yes they come white

I was thinking they’d be super cute rooted. I didn’t realize they have cloth bodies so that wouldn’t work.

Amy Hagen’s protos are super cute in clothes. But I assume she sewed them or commissioned someone to sew them.

Maybe you could dye the body a solid colr, brown or black, maybe use a tye dye method? I ordered a doxie, you can always use doggie clothes from pet store.

I painted the piglet bodies with spots. They looked okay.

I think the darker Benni artist sewed or commissioned the body with black velvet fabric

I ordered Benni because this prototype looks like my Aussie girl when she was a pup. She’s a black tricolor and I’d like to paint it to look like her and keep it as a portrait of her.

The dachshund one really reminds me of my mom’s beagle as a puppy. I may have to get it and make a portrait of her especially as she’s getting older and has a bad heart now
