I saw your baby on Reborns and LOVED her, my favorite Ashia so far
You and me are alike
Thank you! @AGivensBaby
I also think presentation is important. However, I let my friends and family know that I don’t wrap anything, lol. They don’t care. I also do not send a BC because they all throw them away. Since my dolls are Alternatives they are sent either in their costume or a sleeper wrapped in a blanket, with a few extras of course. For me, I prefer just to have the baby unassembled wrapped well. Nothing else required. I am an easy customer. I am picky about the weight and how it is distributed. However if someone insists on sending the baby a certain way that is ok too! I watch box openings but skip to the baby. If someone opens the baby first then the rest of the items then I will watch the whole box opening.
I think I would struggle to send an unassembled baby, I would feel like it wasn’t finished lol
Yes me too ! I don’t feel the need to see each and every pieces of clothing. I find it boring.
I would love to experience a great box opening one day but I will be ok to get a painted kit too.
Amazing job, DollyParton! The reborn is beautiful and perfect presentation. If it were me receiving the baby, I’d be thrilled!!!
May I ask where’d you find the clothes? That gray jumpsuit withathe long-sleeved flower shirt is adorable!!
Thank you. This particular outfit is from Carters.
Thank you @Rachel_Rose
Same here
Same here.
It’s good to know that I am not alone!
I too get very bored with Long Drawn Out Box Openings. I know it is probably very nice for the “seller” to see someone take care and appreciating everything they looked for and packed so carefully BUT as for me: just get on with it----show me the baby and don’t dawdle over every little tiny detail. You can do that later, Show us the baby, I hate all the long drawn out stuff. “oh, look at this foot”, how gorgeous----now lets look at the other foot------and on and on it goes. JUST SHOW US THE BABY, WE WANT TO SEE IT!!!
(ok, I admit, I’m an Ass)!!
People make money with YouTube videos. The longer they keep it going, the more money they make, which is why they drag it out. They do the same thing on knitting/crochet tutorials. Just show me the stitch. Don’t talk about it for 5 minutes first.
Thanks, I didn’t realize that, No wonder they take so long!! lol
Are we twin asses then?? I feel the same way!!
You can fast forward the box opening videos to the baby and bypass the rest.
Agree, when they go on and on over how cute an unopened card is…I’m gone
This is exactly how I pack mine to a T
I looooove this presentation. I think it’s an important part if the experience. I may sometimes go overboard because I love to shop for baby clothes & accessories- but ALL my customers have commented back how fun/a surprise/a real treat the box openings were. I think it helps to start that bond while they’re happy & smiling from opening some pretty coordinating things.
