I think I have one of Marita’s resin mini baby. I need to find her COA to make sure. I won it from Sarah Mellman doing some donations.
I think it suppose to be painted, but it looks absolutely blank to me. What can I use to paint her?
I think she was one of ROSE awards.
I have 2 of them. One I won from Sarah in the drawing and the other one was painted and gifted to me by Marita. The ones from the ROSE show were painted by “volunteers” in Utah. @joyce_angel and I think @Blissfulbabies were helpers?
Can I use Genesis on her?
Probably… I will ask Marita what she used?
She’s extra cute painted.
Oh I would love to have one of these to paint for my collection!
Do not use Genesis. I think it will melt it.
I have always painted resins with air dry artist acrylics like Golden paints. First, prime them with an air dry primer or if you do not have one use an air dry matte varnish. This will make the surface less slick so it holds the paint better. Then paint the baby using your paint thinned down with flow medium and a little water. Seal when done with air dry matte varnish. My corn starch mix varnish works great.
Pretty darn cute!! x
Saw Silvia’s wip pics of Ciccia…not a fan so passing on this one for sure.
I have a marita baby that is about 10 inches or so, it’s solid vinyl. Can’t think of its name off the top of my head, but it’s also in this curled up pose. It’s already painted though
Thank you so much!
Marita said she used Genesis but that some people melted the resin during baking.
Thank you for the info!
Yes! That’s the one!
Bianca Franke’s prototype is much cuter. It’s actually cute. I think this might be one that looks better fair skinned without all the little dips and dimples accentuated.
Aaaww. Triplets?
Yes. All in resin by Marita. The one in front is the little Rose baby and the other two she said she made for herself to paint and sell. I am planning to paint all 3 for my own collection. I just love them!!!
Oh my how sweet! The one holding her head is my fav, how utterly adorbs! x
Too cute
