@anjsmiles okay your comment has made me go order a Haven before it was to late! I know Izzy from back when the dollfan forum was the place to be. I remember her joining and the doll community taking her under its wing. She was kinda a fan of mine back then, was very sweet and told me when she sculpted a kit she wanted me to do a prototype for her. Well she went into silicone which I don’t paint and then we all scattered to the wind with FB and Insta so I am sure I am not a thought in her head anymore but would love to surprise her w/ my version of Haven for old times sake!

Yes, I remember Izzy from way back when too! She has always held a special place in my heart. I have her first little sleeping resin mini Tulip that she sculpted and I painted in air dry paints. It still lays in a little crib on my display shelf. I love it! My mom loved it so much too. I asked about it and Izzy was able to send me another one she had left after it sold out and I painted it for Mom.

I have Izzy’s Tulip, too. She’s so tiny, incredibly detailed and perfectly proportioned. I love her little face. For those who don’t know this one, curled up, she’s only 3 3/4" long. Her ears are 3/8" and as detailed as a full size reborn. She has skull suture lines and a fontanelle on her head. She has a tiny belly button. You can even see the vertebrae in her spine. She’s just amazing. I’m pretty sure Izzy was 16 when she sculpted Tulip. I didn’t paint mine. @anjsmiles can I see your reborned version?

Sure. You can barely see the skull sutures and fontanelle but they’re there. I love this tiny little one. You couldn’t pay me to give her up.

I found these pics on my FB page from 2016. I think they were taken before I put matte vanish on her while painting.
edited to say No, she was matted here. The resin just gets a lot of light bounce in pics. I found her pics in my Pbase album too and these are the finished baby.

The detail is amazing and it’s so tiny!!
She reminds me of the baby that Marita did for one of the doll shops (Ashton Drake?) that is sculpted in a similar pose and produced in vinyl. I think some of you guys have painted her too.
