I pay in full for all pre orders so I am not dealing with a bill out of the blue or having to worry about missing an email or invoice. I also feel like if there was an issue with a kit shortage, they would send to ppl who have paid in full first. But today I looked into the shipping issues with China due to the War because I am worried about getting preorders now. The China shipping situation according to Google AI was bleak. I think if this drags on we will be lucky to get our kits anytime soon. I guess I will go the depo route now so I am not having to chase a refund or have my money tied up. I know we all have a lot on our minds these days so wanted to share this incase you want to do the same.
Hi Gina!! I hear you…nobody wants money tied up in a preorder if timelines feel uncertain. Just to clarify for our customers: we bring kits in by air, not ocean freight, so we’re not expecting long shipping delays that are being discussed with container traffic. Me too Cherie…..counting down until Sunday!!! I think the Ilea is going to be a faster sell out than the Yuna was. It is my 40th wedding anniversary on the 15th but I told my husband we cannot go anywhere until after 12 NOON LOL

Anytime Gina. I think most of the dealers bring in by air to be honest…….I would be surprised if Joy Dolls (in China) shipped by sea other than cargo containers which would be rare for doll parts.

Nevermind Pia Penelope. I’m used to it. She and her friends used to bully me and others pretty bad over on the Dollfan forum 15 or so years ago when I started reborning. She messaged me on the DF forum and demanded to know who I was and this and that to prove I wasn’t a scammer. That was their big thing, they didn’t like new artists and any newcomer to the craft was a possible scammer. I ignored her but they would pick apart every post and jump on you at every chance. I won’t say her nursery name, she is a popular artist now and makes very nice high end dolls but there was another they went pretty hard after and almost drove her out of the craft. Nothing changed with Pia.

I usually pay for my kits in full as well so I am very glad to hear that they are flown in. I am waiting on Laura’s new Sunna kit only currently. Now you have me curious about Lleah as I am not sure what she looks like so I have to go check.
