This is all because of all the scams, it has everyone crazy…sellers and buyer. I understand BOTH parties involved, and I agree with both. Hopefully it can be left in the past.

Done. I’m only on this forum and the reborns.com forum, no other social media. It might help to prevent this kind of misunderstanding in the future if you set up a PayPal account/email with your nursery name. Just a suggestion.

If you had already sent the doll, before I cancelled my credit card, and this had all been clarified, I would have resent you the payment. I wouldn’t have kept it without paying for it.

I’m not a liar or a thief and I’m genuinely sorry about this whole thing. This is getting ugly so I’m not going to continue this conversation and I’m going to request that this entire thread be removed.

@jeanhai is not that type of person. She is a very kind lady. She simply asked if it was odd to us. People whom she has talked to daily for years.
Frankly it is odd. The LLC having the word tickets in it looks fishy. I would have asked also.

@jeanhai is not a scammer. She is one of the sweetest members of this forum and many of us have had dealings with her.

I hope you’re prepared for the barrage of comments on this post telling you so, as we are a tight-knit community who defend our own. I am so offended and hurt on her behalf that you would say such a thing and I hope that you can find it in your heart to take it back.

I understand but that doesnt mean she tried to scam you.
She tried to protect her self but even the site owner said the sale didnt come from there. I dont know. maybe the system had a glitch?

I know I had an order from an email for a beauty pageant before. It was odd. I asked the buyer about it. She explained, etc.

I agree. Especially when the Google search didn’t return a huge amount of results.

@kittiekuddles regardless of the reason you’ve returned to reborning, I hope you find some joy in it and I wish you success. If you were to create email, PayPal, and social media accounts that are entirely separate from the existing business, potential customers wouldn’t be spooked. Just a friendly constructive criticism, as that’s what we do here.

I’d have felt momentarily bitter myself, but after facts coming to light I would have been able to see where the misunderstanding occurred and move past it.

This forum isn’t populated with mean girls. Your past post history shows that you seemed to have gotten along with people here with no trouble. You were also quite helpful for warning fellow members about scams. You’re welcome here, and if you choose to stay we’d love to have you, but please don’t be unkind to Jean. As I’ve said before, she’s a very sweet lady.

A lot of over reacting here to my opinion.
When all is explained and understood, why keep putting oil on the fire ?

I think @jeanhai reacted too fast , she should certainly have send an email or try to contact the seller before cancelling the credit card. There was no rush.
I think @kittiekuddles take it too far, specially after the buyer apologies. No need to be mean or angry, everyone made mistakes and clearly there’s no attempt to scam anyone.

My PayPal account is under my previous nurserie name. I can’t change the name and I don’t want to create a new account as I am affraid it will affect the holds on payments. Plus I don’t want to deal with 2 accounts.

I wish I will never encounter this kind of situation. I wish, if it happens, the buyer will not panicking and try to contact me before hand.
I always wait 1-2 days before shipping to allow for cancellations.

I hope you will both resolve this in a kindly manner, implying someone is dishonest or a scammer is very hurtful, both ways.
