How is the baby doing?
Not the best, hes awake but in pain he also has fractured ribs, dr said he will have permanent damage, has to be monitered he will have seizures, and also found out when paramedics got there he wasnt breathing,

Sounds a bit more than just dropped. Poor Baby. My friends’ mom was watching her baby and the baby flung her self backward and the grandma lost her grip and dropped her. I think she was 5 or 6 months. Anyways I think they said she was walking through the kitchen and when she fell she hit the counter then the floor.
Took her straight to the hospital and they were assured she was fine. About a week went by and she had a check up and my friend asked them to check her again and they found she had fractured her skull and they life flighted her to a bigger hospital across the state. She had swelling on her brain. I think they were there about a week.
There was no outside trauma and no other injuries. Thankfully the mom had them recheck. She is almost 9 yr old now and fine.

My heart bleeds for this little one. Children are gifts to be treasured and anyone who would harm a child deserves the highest punishment available. High or not, there is simply no excuse.

His dad hasnt even asked about him!!, we dont know how long he let him lay in floor not breathing!!! Because he said when he realized he wasnt moving he splashed water on him! Then he called his grandfather first before 911!!!

Totally agree! This man should receive the same punishment as murder because IMO, if this innocent child is brain damaged, he took away the life this sweet baby would have normally lived.
I’ve cried each time I’ve come back to this post…my hugs and prayers for this beautiful soul.

OMG!!! How irresponsible!! By not calling 911 immediately precious time was lost that could have prevented some or all of the brain damage!!! A healthy innocent baby has now been injured for life. What the heck is wrong with some people!!! Sorry but right now I have no sympathy for that father. I hope he gets put away for a very long time and get the counseling he needs in prison. I can’t believe that this father has not even asked about baby Bentley’s condition. I am so mad right now!! My heart goes out to this beautiful baby. Praying for a miracle for Bentley and for a full recovery!!
