Thank you for taking the time to reply to all my questions. You have been extremely helpful and informative so thank you, I really appreciate it. I should perhaps explain, I don’t actually make reborn dolls (though I do have one and I’d love to make her squishy!), I make dogs, but when it comes to weighting/filling I do them with the same method & supplies as a reborn. This stuff seemed like a good way to get the body nice and squashy but I think it’s a bit too specialised and risky to be worth it. Shame as it would certainly have given the feel I’m after but I guess it’s back to the drawing board!

Sorry I’ve only just seen this, not been on here as it’s my busy season starting up with work. Of course you can see them they’re all chihuahuas as I adore them and that’s my breed, I did try others but found it’s best (and easier!) to stick with what you know. I’ve spent a long time getting a ‘type’ but I’m finally happy with how they turn out. Here you go, meet my chi-borns
