For those of you who have done pig tails for a doll. How did you do it? Some have maybe made them out of bunch of hair and attach with magnets or rooted? I don’t know where to begin. Any help is appreciated.

Depends on the age of the baby I guess. I only did it for toddlers, by rooting longer hair and use elastic (the soft ones, for babies).

TY!! I’m leaning toward magnetic so they can be taken on and off as I’m painting her hair and not rooting it

TY! I’m painting her hair so I’m going for magnetic if I can get it figured out. I don’t want the magnets to show on her head lol
I did magnetic ones on Krista. I glued the hair together at the bottom and to a magnet then covered it with a ribbon. Then you could use them just with the ribbon or you could put a clip on it to switch up the colour. I just did it as an afterthought so my hair paint and mohair didn’t completely match but was still cute enough
