I’m working on an outfit and I’m not sure which animal to use for the lovey. Thoughts? The fabric will have a crocheted border.

Those are a lot easier to crochet than an owl. I didn’t think about a lamb.
I tried to do a star. That did not go well.

Here is an idea that I tried with these little blankets. This is from a pattern from Annie Potter "Zoo-curity Blankets. I can’t find the pattern on her site anymore, but there are a few listed on ebay: Contemporary Crochet & Knitting Patterns for Sale - eBay
Since you will have a crochet border you can crochet these little animals around one of the corners.
