Now I have another silly question :thinking: I’ve only done painted hair so packing was simple, how do I pack with hair? Do I cover it the same way, with a diaper over the head? Or is it done differently then just painted hair? What’s the best way? I’ve watched many videos and it seems everyone does it differently. Another question, is rooting a toddler different , the hair pattern I think would be different? Toddlers don’t have the swirl. I want to practice :blush: Any advice as always is truly appreciated :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Toddlers do have a swirl, so do adults. Hair pattern is the same for babies and toddlers instead of the front IMO.

About diapers on the head - I’ve learned here and on SM that diapers have some substance that can affect vinyl, so it wasn’t recommended and I never do that, but I see plenty of people who do it. I use a hair net on the fully rooted head.
I would not worry about combi hair, just wrap it in the blanket as usual.

I put the head on a piece of white tissue paper and tie it around the nec with a ribbon and then just wrap in a receiving blanket…

I use a piece of soft fabric over mine and tie it around the neck. I don’t recommend using diapers. They’re kind of rough and can rub on the paint during shipping.

@YelenaRey I didn’t know toddlers and adults have a swirl :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:. I guess I’ve never really looked. Thank you. I’ve also heard some people don’t use a diaper over the head, I’ve always used it , I feel it protects the eyelashes from getting damaged. I’ve also seen people use like a plastic wrap to cover the head. I guess it’s what’s everyone feels comfortable with :blush: Thanks for the advice :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I did had trouble with diapers “leaking” some oily substance on the vinyl (only on the legs thankfully) so I am using a hat to cover and protect the head. I prefer not risking damaging anything. I guess it could depend on the brand?
