Reborning also has a lot of trial and error. You can follow many tutorials and still make mistakes. Everyone finds their own style of painting and to produce a good quality baby takes lots of practice. I’m still learning but have gotten so much better cuz I found my own process of painting a baby to achieve the look I want. There are lots of wonderful tutorials on YouTube that will help along the way and of course there are always the lovely ladies on this forum that can also help if needed. I have learned a lot from the ladies here and I feel like this forum is an extension of my family.

you forgot these steps
- Buy a bazillion dollars worth of kits, eyes hair
- search high and low for somewhere to put all the %^%^$^U& stuff
- search high and low for your supplies, because you found places to stash them, and can’t find it
- write ad with price, size and location of the doll
- Answer questions “what is the price, size and location of the doll”
- blow off friends, mate, party invites because you are so addicted to reborning

She also runs giveaways where the winner gets a few hundred off a reborn. She says the winner rarely claims the prize and it’s free publicity for her nursery.

WOW, I believe I paid 197.00. She wasn’t talking all this stuff back then. I didn’t hear of it. She had a 3 minute video showing how she did a whole kit. I was a beginner n eager for some help. I actually inquired about her on here, before I brought the course.

I saw your post while using search. Now she’s making more money off of this. Creative Impressions Nursery sells her starter kit which has all the paint you need except for ethnic colors which is sold separate. Was it worth it?

Oh, I didn’t even know she had a started kit. It was worth it to me. She has added a lot since I brought it. I check every so often to see if she has added anything new. This is how her course looks.

I have heard we get our own style, and I believe it. All the tutorials we watch, etc, and we take away from them. But I believe in the end it all comes together as our own style. I am still working on that for myself, but I believe it will come.

I love her videos! I’ve seen that guide but will try it. I have the waterborne paints so I’ll use this the next time I paint a kit. I found it harder with the Winsor and Newton acrylic paint.

Tried the golden fluids paints. The kit was too sticky. I’ll try them again eventually. I tried reborn paints too.
