I think I prefer the old one. I like the âsmallerâ head and less wrinkles on the forehead but I still like the new one as well.
Unfortunately, I think that this ânewâ Jewel is far from improved.
I really wish they would leave the faces alone! Most of them have charm and character enough. Now, the limbs, well I agree some could use an update but Iâm really not liking these âimprovedâ kits!
I agree with Pia i think the newer one looks more dollish, I am working on the old version right now for grandson for Christmas and i really like it the way it was even his or her funny little head
I keep going back trying to find some resemblance between the two kitsâŚall I see is the top lip! Theyâre totally different babies!

SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! Iâve been waiting so long for her and this is what we get??? Aw, man! This baby is cute and I ordered her, but I so wanted the old Jewel. She was just so perfect. Donât get me wrong, I like this new one but I wish they had left the face alone and just improved the limbsâŚactually, I thought the limbs were nice on the old one. Do yâall remember when Coke got rid of their original formula and replaced it with the ânew and improvedâ formula? I wasnât impressed with that either. Of course, the good thing was that they brought back the old one. We can always hopeâŚ
Thatâs the same thing I said. Iâm was like the only thing that look similar between ânewâ Jewel and Jewel is the lips. The head less round and much longer more wrinkles and such. Not a fan.

I was really hoping to get my hands on an old Jewel kit! It looks so much like a friendâs little ones, and I wanted to make it for her.
I generally keep my opinions to myself, but that IS NOT Jewel! If youâre going to change the face so much that itâs not recognizable, change the name too. We have waited so long thinking BB was restocking our beloved Jewel. I am very disappointed.

Hopefully @bbsupport and @EmilyBB will take input from reborn artists regarding the changes !
They havenât yet. This is not the first improved sculpt that we have been unhappy with and they keep on ruining them.
I wish theyâd ask our opinions (a survey or something) about what would improve the new ones, but that probably wonât ever happen.
