I was so intrigued by the idea of “cuddle” babies with 1/4 arms and legs, I got two of them! Lol. One is a very cheap Lee Middleton from 1997, and the other features Adrie Stoete’s new limbs with a reborned Ashton Drake head. (The artist had trouble getting his hair off, so he’s a hat baby 
)

I love the 1/4 limb babies. They’re such snuggly cuddle babies but with way more clothing options.

The boy is so cute! I love his cheeks! Bonnie Brown is working on some new 1/4 limbs which is exciting! I’m not typically a fan so I won’t be doing them but they’re a great option for those who like them

I am actually interested in making some higher end children’s dolls and I think that the 1/4 limb babies are perfect for that! I cannot wait for Bonnie’s.

So sweet, I am working on an Adrie Stoete kit with the 1/4 limbs too. Do you know that was all we had years ago until we figured out we could reborn Ashton Drake, Masterpiece, and others?! I made my own bodies, they were fun to paint and dress.

I personally wouldn’t prefer them, but when I think about it, they would be good for cuddle babies, children, and older people in care homes.
I like the fact that they had normal reborn hands so you can still have the look of little hands on them to help with more realism, instead of always placing gloves on them.

I love the feel of them but sometimes it is hard to find long sleeved outfits.

I know the people who didn’t have a choice when 1/4 was all there was are not amused at the come back but I really want to make one! they are so expensive.

I for whatever reason was not fond of cuddle babies (I don’t own one). However, upon seeing them like this I just melted and need one! It’s the best of both worlds: Uber cuddly, with hints of realism — perfection. I hope to own one someday!
