Netflix reborn documentary

Believe it or not I got contacted a few years ago by HBO documentary producers and was so sure these people were playing with me that I outright told them this in the beginning. Surprisingly they ended up being legit.

It was supposed to be a documentary about interesting hobbies/careers or something along these lines and was going to be positive. I passed the info on to a well-spoken and outgoing dolly friend since she would have been a great representation, but I’m not sure what happened with it.

Someone contacted me one time too! A woman who said she wanted to do a video call interview or whatever. And you know what, now I can’t remember if she actually called me :joy: but I don’t think it was legit, and my painting wasn’t good enough so I thought it was a prank

I still can’t make sense out of why it was me (among others, I think) that they contacted. It’s not like I paint prototypes or do anything too exciting.

Prototypes?

If that’s what you meant, thank you, that’s very kind of you to say. There are SO many vinyl artists out there who are insanely talented and good with photos who would do a way better job.

I actually enjoy being behind the scenes more. For example, if there was a good way to take my many years of business experience/consulting work and apply that to the doll world to help other artists achieve success, I’d honestly be much happier doing that.

Yes prototypes. You get realistic airdry better than most heat set artists.
