I’m new too and I don’t have any reborning advice for you. But I do want to say that I think it’s great that you are getting into this art. This community is amazing and I know you will receive all the support you need to become successful if you stick with it. :revolving_hearts:

Congratulations this is a fun ADDICTING art! Are you planning to paint with heat set paints, they require an oven like a NuWave. Or acrylic? This will help anyone to know what to start recommending. We look forward to seeing your future babies

thx so much i was going to do heat set but then i looked at the price so i think ill start on acrylics thank you

Welcome to the forum! I am looking forward to see your WIP and your first baby (how exciting!) and see you growing into reborn artist.
My advice is to use Search (spy glass) on this forum. You’ll find all your questions already answered there many times.
Warning: this hobby is addictive, so prepare to spend lots of money

Welcome to the artist world! I’m sure you will fall in love with the whole process of reborn doll making. Good luck! I’m also a young, 16 year old artist. (Picture of my recent baby Rosalie)

Welcome! Doll making so so much fun!! And can be frustrating at times, my advice is to practice practice practice! :blue_heart: I started painting in 9th grade when I was 14! Age does not determine your talent  i agree with above you can use the spyglass to find tips and tricks to help you out when you are painting!

Quite honestly, why wait. Buy yourself some acrylics, brushes and sponges and start on a child’s doll. This is how I made my first one and I’m super glad I didn’t use anything expensive. If you have an old doll (that isn’t sentimental) strip it, wash it and practice! Once you manage to save up you’ll be further ahead. I think I used basic craft acrylics for my first few and they looked fine. Not amazing, but okay while learning. Have fun!
