These are the 2 kits I was trying to paint ethnic. They look orangey to me. What do you think. One has mottling. I don’t wanna do creases until I have the right skin tone. The other one I did mottling, but very subtle. I will do more mottling. Any suggestions n opinions would be helpful. I started with a light flesh, then used flesh 02, burnt umber n burnt sienna on them.

To tone orange down you could do a light blue wash. Then maybe a yellow ochre wash. I’ve never attempted an ethnic baby before though.

I always add in a bit of blue to the burnt umber so that I don’t get that orangy tone. Maybe try a very light blue wash.
