Names for keepers

Hi! How do you pick the names for your keepers? Do you pick something that you think sounds good? Or has a good meaning? Or both?
I’m trying to pick a name for a little girl that I’m getting from a friend for Christmas. Her name needs to sound good with my other keepers names which are:
Layla Isabel,Finley Alexander,Stella Rose (not made yet),Lincoln Evander (not made yet) and Asher Kingsley.
Any suggestions you have would be great :smile:

I think you just pick something you like and sounds good to you. They are your babies.

Yeah,But I want their names to sound good together. I had picked out the name Aaralyn for this baby,But it seems too “unique” compared to the classic names of all the other babies. And I’m having trouble finding a name that sounds good,That I actually like.I’m very picky about names

I don’t know if I can wait that long lol, I get to open her box on Christmas
I’ve spent days on name websites, But can’t seem to find anything as cute as the last girl’s name I picked out; Stella Rose.

I had to smile when I read your original post. I thought that I was the only one that takes a lot of time naming my babies. Like you I also give them all middle names too!!!

For me it just happens randomly. But I will say all my keepers have “A” names why the letter a I have no clue. I really don’t think about it too much. Sometimes I’ll pick out a couple names & then ask around which is best.

I always think about it way too much. Sometimes, A first name will come to me right away but finding a middle name takes hours and sometimes days. In this case though,It’s the first name I’m having trouble with. And they need to sound good with the other babies names.

How about Cassandra Lynn, Gwendolyn Rene, or Samantha Rachelle.

I always wanted to name a little one Summer Willow Rose or just Summer Willow or Summer Rose

I love Summer Willow! I want to avoid the name Rose for a middle name because I have a little girl named Stella Rose :blush:

I helped my granddaughter come up with a name for her baby. We named her “Landree Nicole” because my granddaughter’s middle name is Nicole. Since you have several babies with “L” names, Landree might work well for her.
